CAGLE ROCKS! Nov 04, 2000
By DanD To be honest, I picked up a copy of this CD without having previously heard a song on it. I had heard good things about Chris Cagle, however, so I decided to try it out. It was one of the best buys I every made! I know it may sound cheesy, but this CD affected me greatly. It's such a great combination of emotions and good-time rockin'-country toons. From the sad "The Safe Side," to the emotionally charged "Laredo" and "Who Needs The Whiskey," to the rocking "Country By The Grace of God" snd "Rock The Boat," this is one CD you won't regret buying. The only bad thing there is to say about it is that it's not free. But it is worth every penny you spend. One thing's for sure: Chris Cagle is country through-and=through. He'll be here when Tim McGraw hangs up his hat, and Alan Jackson smashes his guitar at a rock concert. Like his love, Chris Cagle will go on and on and on and on . . .

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Jun 01, 2001

"kateling"
Chris Cagle had been knocking around Nashville as a songwriter for awhile before making the leap to performer. I am glad he leapt! His writing abilities are second to none and his delivery is phenomenal, wrap that up in a HOT package and you have Chris Cagle (I wouldn't mind "playing loud" with him if you know what I mean!). After hearing "My Love Goes on and on" on the radio, I picked up this CD and was struck by its versatility. When I sing along with "My Love Goes on and on", I always find myself adding a couple of extra "and on"s, it is such a catchy tune I end up singing it every time. Then there is the country-boy anthem "Country by the Grace of God", the upbeat title track and the straight-up rockin' (and, therefore, appropriately titled) "Rock the Boat". There is really not a ballad per se, but "Laredo" (my personal fave track) is dripping with raw emotion and definite #1 material. Other stand-out songs include "Who Needs the Whiskey" and "Love Between a Woman and a Man". I highly recommend this CD and, if you get a chance, seeing Chris perform live, he does not disappoint!

Well worth it! Feb 13, 2001
By Rachel Ford I saw the video Chris made for "My Love Goes On and On" before I ever heard it on the radio. I thought that the song was so much fun that I had to try other songs, but before I could, I saw the cd in a store and couldn't resist buying it! As soon as I heard songs like "Laredo" and "Rock the Boat" I could not help but love the rest of the cd too! This cd is one of the best I have heard in a long time by ANYONE (country or otherwise)! It is well worth buying! Good Job Chris! :)

Great way to start a career Nov 29, 2000 I picked up the album just get get the song "MY LOVE GOES ON", but was amazed at how great the rest of the songs were. A lot of times I have to listen to a cd several times before I begin to like certain songs, but I loved this albume the first time I played it. The first five songs are definitley great, but the rest of the album is pretty good also. I love the uptempo stuff on this. Chris Cagle should be around for a long time. I can't wait to see him in concert sometime.

Better than you could believe! Nov 04, 2000
By Becky I heard "My Love Goes On and On" the radio and purchased this CD right away. I immediatly found out the rest of this CD is just as amazing as that signature song! Chris Cagle is new to the country field, but this is as good a CD out there as you could ever buy!!
